Jet Coast Development Trust is a not-for-profit
organisation created by a group of local people and others
who recognised the need for a social enterprise company. They
volunteered their time to address some of the problems in
the area. Over the years a lot of hard work from these individuals
has been channelled into the economic regeneration of the
parish of Staithes & Hinderwell.
Initially funded through a “Start
Up” community grant, Jet Coast Development Trust were
successful in attracting further funding from the Market Towns
Initiative Small Projects Fund. This additional funding enabled
